In January of 2012 we celebrated our 2nd year of holding ICAN of Knoxville support meetings! We had great snacks and enjoyed ourselves at our new location at Upper Cervical Health Center. A big thanks to them for allowing us to use their office space.
The meetings will be held there now, on the first Tuesday of each month at 6 pm. February’s topic will be on Pre-Eclampsia and Julie Wright will be sharing some interesting information about potential ways to help prevent the condition. We will also be discussing what the condition is and possible scenarios.
March’s Topic will be Some Options for VBAC and will include two nurse midwives from St. Mary’s Midwifery Center coming to discuss the new center and the options they are offering for VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean).
The meetings are free, although we do gratefully accept donations on behalf of our 501 c non-profit. Childcare is not provided, however, nursing babes are always welcome. Men are welcome, too!
